How GeoWeb Came to Be
As AI search engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews) rose rapidly, we observed that visibility within the AI search ecosystem is becoming a critical competitive advantage. GeoWeb was built for that: a free audit anyone can run, a 12-dimension scoring and AI-citation backtesting platform behind it, and a team that does the work for business clients — managed end to end — you review the results. Methodology
No engine publishes what makes it recommend one brand over another. Our 12-dimension framework is reverse-engineered: we look at who actually gets cited and who gets skipped, work backwards to the conditions the engines select for, and turn those conditions into 12 things that can be measured on a website.
What the framework scores is the client's own site — one URL in, a score on each of the 12 dimensions, and a fix list in priority order. That is the site's own GEO health, which is a different question from whether the brand actually gets cited.
Citations are measured on our second layer: we put the questions a client's buyers really ask to ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI Overviews, Claude, Perplexity, Grok, Copilot, Meta AI and Mistral, plus Chinese platforms including DeepSeek, Qwen, Kimi, GLM, Doubao, Hunyuan, MiniMax, ERNIE and iFlytek Spark, and record whether the brand gets named and who gets named instead — run continuously, with the method published at AI-citation backtesting. GEO health scores usually move first and citations follow, so both are tracked together.
